Examination

  1. All the students should be present in the school on the opening day of each term.
  2. Irregular attendance, unjustified absences or objectionable moral behavior justifies dismissal. If a student is absent for ten consecutive days without an application or for three consecutive days without an application at the beginning of a term, his/her name may be struck off the rolls.
  3. All the absentees from school must bring with them a leave application from the parent/guardian.
  4. In case of illness a medical certificate from a M.B.B.S. doctor must be produced within three days of absence.
  5. All the students are expected to line up in silence for the assembly at the sound of the first bell. After the assembly they should disperse in silence to their classes.
  6. During the exchange of teachers in between classes proper silence must be maintained.
  7. Students will not be allowed to leave the school premises during school hours.


General Rules

  1. A child's name may be struck off the school register for the following causes;-
    (a) Fees are not paid.
    (b) Fails to reach a class proportionate to his/her age (fails two years in succession) in class IX and XI.
    (c) If the child does not have the minimum 75% required attendance.
    (d) Caught using unfair means in the examination.
    (e) Gross misconduct.
    (f) If the Parents/Guardians do not conform to the school requirements.
    (g) Does not wear full school uniform for school.
    (h) If the Principal/headmistress feels that a child is not benefiting by continuing his/her studies in the institution.
    (i) If a child fails to attend school by the 30th April and whose fees are not paid.
    (j) Fails to purchase his/her text books.
    (k) Receives three important notices and pays no heed.
  2. Parents/Guardians are not allowed to see students or interview teachers during school hours without the prior sanction of the Principal.
  3. Parents/Guardians are requested to bring their children regularly to school on time and in full school uniform and arrange to collect them immediately after school hours. The management will not be responsible for the students at any time after their school hours.
  4. Parents are expected to keep a continuous check on their child progress. Teachers are available to meet parents for 15 minutes daily after school on all days other than Sundays and Holidays.
  5. Parents should attend the school office when sent for by the principal.
  6. No parents should get their child tutored by a teacher without prior permission (in writing) from the Principal. Stern action will be taken against parents who waive this rule.
  7. No student is permitted to bring Mobile Phones/Ipods/Cameras in the campus. Strict action will be taken against the offenders.
  8. Under no conditions are students without licenses to drive to school on two wheelers. Strict action will be taken against students without licenses found quality of parking vehicles in or around the school premises.
  9. Parents are expected to maintain silence in the school campus and conduct themselves properly.
  10. This diary must be brought to school daily.
  11. Parents are not allowed into the school campus during the interval.
  12. Any kind of damage done in the school premises has to be replaced by the student concerned.
  13. If any student is found involved in ragging his/her junior/colleague/senior student, strict action will be taken as per anti-ragging law.
  14. No child will bring Guns, Knives, Knucle Duster, Paper Cutting Knife or any such object which can injure the child. If caught Legal Action will be taken.


Cash, Valuable and Belongings

  1. Student are advised not to bring cash, valuable, watches, transistor, radio, gold ornaments, cell phones, etc. to school.
  2. All articles brought to school, including water bottles, tiffin boxes & other clothes, etc. Should be marked with the child's name.
  3. Students are not allowed to wear any jewellary. The school will not be responsible for any loss if this rule is broken.
  4. The school will not responsible for any loss if the rules are not followed.


Infectious Deseases

No student will be permitted to attend school if there is or has been within 14 days previously, an infectious disease in the house, cases of children recovering from chicken pox must be quarantined for at least 21 days or till the scabs have fallen off.

Absence

  1. Parents are requested to see that their children are regular and punctual in attendance at school.
  2. In the event of absence for a day or two, they are required to write a letter to the Principal, on the child's return to school explaining the reason for his absence. All letters must be addressed to the Principal, only giving the child's Code Number, class and section.
  3. If the duration of absence is to be more than two days a letter should be sent on the 1st day of illness, supported by a medical certificate in case of sickness.
  4. Attending wedding and other functions outside Balrampur during school time breaks into routine and school discipline. Parents are asked most earnestly not to take their child with them to attend these functions as no leave will be sanctioned.


Discipline

  1. The Principal can, in the interest of the school, and without assigning any reason, ask a parent to remove a child, should their conduct, behavior or influence, in the Principal opinion, be in any way detrimental to the good name and smooth running of the school.
  2. Irregular attendance, habitual lack of interest in school work, words or actions departing from the conventions of good conduct, smoking, insubordination, cheating, stealing, misconduct, even outside the premises of the school, or any other practice against the good reputation of the school, are sufficient ground for dismissal of a student from the school.
  3. Parents or Guardian cannot dictate to the management, and the management has the right to say on what conditions they will admit or retain pupils in this school.
  4. Pupils must not take part in any political activities.


Private Tution

  1. If a parent wishes his child to have private tuition from a member of the school staff, he should apply for this to the Principal in writing. If such tuition is deemed necessary and if it can be arranged [this may not always be possible as a teacher is allowed only 5 tuition by law] Please note that it is against our rules for any private arrangement to be made with a member of the school.
  2. Staff is not permitted to organize private coaching classes outside the campus, either in their residence or elsewhere. Student attending such tutorials will be dismissed from school as well as the staff who is conducting them. Teachers conducting and students attending such tuitions will be dismissed from school if caught.


Wanton Damage, Repair & Renewal

  1. Wanton damage to school property will be charged to a parent to compensate for the damage to school property by pupils through the year, an amount assessed by the head of the institution will be charged.
